14 days · 60 minutes · 10 videos · no card

Transcribing a video with echoflow means uploading a file or pasting a link and receiving, within minutes, the full text of what was said — in the language actually spoken, already split into synced subtitles and ready to edit. Processing runs in a queue: close the page and come back when it's done. You get a 14-day trial on sign-up, no card.

What sets it apart from any other automatic transcriber is what happens next: the same upload also produces the summary, the social posts, the article, the newsletter and the chapters. The transcript isn't the finished product — it's the raw material for everything else.

How it works, in three steps

  1. Upload or paste. A video or audio file from your computer, or the link to a YouTube video or

a file on Google Drive.

  1. The AI transcribes. The speech recognition engine (Whisper) produces the continuous text of

the speech and the timestamps that subtitles are built from. You see progress in real time.

  1. Edit and export. The text is an editable draft: fix a proper noun, a technical term, an

acronym — and the corrections end up in the exports.

What one upload gives you

| Output | Format | Notes | |---|---|---| | Transcript | .txt | Clean, continuous text in the spoken language | | Subtitles | .srt and .vtt | Synced, ready for YouTube or for editing | | Captioned video | .mp4 | On request, once per job; watermarked during the trial | | Summary and notes | text | Synopsis and key moments | | Social posts, article, newsletter, chapters | text | From the same text, in your brand's tone of voice |

Everything downloads together as a single ZIP archive, organised into folders.

No browser extension, no detour through a video-downloading site: paste the address and transcription starts. It's the fastest way to recover the text of a webinar, a livestream or an episode you've already published — including your back catalogue, which is often the most profitable material to reuse. The obvious rule applies: only transcribe what you have the rights to.

Where your data is

Files and content are stored in the European Union. Transcription and AI generation also use non-EU providers: they are listed by name on our sub-processors page, under the safeguards of Article 44 and following of the GDPR. We'd rather spell that out than write "your data stays in Europe" and let you discover the rest later.

The source file you upload is deleted within 24 hours of processing unless the workspace has set its own retention: it's the heaviest and most personal piece, and we have no reason to keep it.

What we don't do

Said up front, not in small print at the bottom:

has to be faithful in a legal sense, human review is required — our draft shortens that work, it doesn't replace it.

recording afterwards.

What it costs

The trial lasts 14 days and gives you 60 minutes, no credit card, with a 60-minute maximum per video. Then there's a single plan, Pro, with every feature: €19/month for 200 minutes or €49 for 1,000, with an annual option worth two months free. One minute of video uses one minute of balance, minutes from extra packs don't expire, and before you upload you see what that file will cost — not after.

Want to see the result without signing up? The demo is a real, browsable job: the transcript, the subtitles and everything that came out of it.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to transcribe a video?

On sign-up you get a 14-day trial: 60 minutes and up to 10 videos, no credit card (60 minutes per video maximum). After that, the Pro plan is €19 a month for 200 minutes or €49 for 1,000, with every feature; one minute of processed content uses one minute of balance. You can also buy one-off extra-minute packs, which never expire.

What language is the transcript in?

The language actually spoken in the video, detected automatically: upload an Italian video and you get Italian text, with nothing to configure. The other generated content follows the same language, and you can force Italian, English, Spanish, French or German for any individual job.

Can I transcribe a YouTube video without downloading it?

Yes: paste the link and we handle the rest — no browser extension, no downloading the file to your computer. It works with Google Drive links too. Only transcribe content you own or have permission to use.

How accurate is it?

We use Whisper, one of the most solid speech recognition engines available, and under normal conditions the result is very close to the spoken audio. We don't publish an accuracy percentage because it would be a number without context: results vary a lot with audio quality, overlapping voices, accents and technical terms. That's why the transcript is editable — you fix what needs fixing and the corrections flow into the exports.

Can I download subtitles and not just the text?

Yes. The same transcript produces synced subtitles in SRT and VTT, ready to upload to YouTube or use in editing, and on request the video with subtitles burned in.

How long do the files stay available?

Text content — transcript, subtitles, article, newsletter — doesn't expire while the account stays active. Generated media files (such as the captioned video) stay downloadable for 7 days from creation, with the date shown next to the download. The video you uploaded is deleted within 24 hours of processing, unless the workspace has set its own retention.
