Vertical short clips from your long videos

The AI finds the strongest moments in your video and cuts them vertically, with subtitles synced word by word. Three clips per video, or as many as you pick up to your plan's cap, ready for Reels, Shorts and TikTok.

From a long video, echoflow produces vertical 9:16 clips, already cut and captioned (three by default, up to eight with Pro): the AI finds the strongest moments in the speech, crops them to vertical and burns in word-by-word animated subtitles. They're ready for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and TikTok. Clips are included already in the trial, with no monthly cap.

And the same upload also produces the transcript, the article, the newsletter, the posts and the chapters: clips are one output among many, not the whole product.

The AI chooses, and says why

Every clip comes with a potential score from 0 to 100, broken into four criteria — opening hook, completeness of the point, value to the viewer, emotional charge — and one line explaining the choice. That's the difference between an opaque number and something you can act on: you know which to publish first and why, instead of watching them all and guessing.

We don't call it a virality score. Virality depends on when you post, who follows you and that day's algorithm: no tool predicts it, and promising otherwise would be dishonest.

Vertical without cutting off the speaker's head

Going from 16:9 to 9:16 throws away two thirds of the image, and done badly it decapitates the subject or leaves them out of frame. The crop is chosen by looking at where the speaker actually is, not by taking the geometric centre. If detection fails, it falls back to a centre crop — which is the cautious behaviour, not a bug.

Word-by-word subtitles

Clips come with karaoke subtitles: each word highlights at the instant it's spoken. That's possible because the transcript gives us the timing of every individual word rather than an estimate per line — the same precision that keeps the SRT files in sync.

In the trial the style is the fixed classic one. With Pro you choose between several presets — accent colour, position, size — including a brand preset that uses your Brand Kit colour.

What we don't do

Said up front, because it decides whether we're the right tool:

burned-in subtitles. Watch, download or discard.

stays yours. We don't ask for access to your accounts and we don't store tokens.

default, filler words only if you ask.

Which plan

Vertical clips are included in the trial and in the Pro plan (€19/month for 200 minutes, €49 for 1,000), and have no monthly cap. Once the trial is over the account is an archive: the clips you already produced stay downloadable within their retention window, but no new ones are generated until you pick a plan. With the Pro plan, in both sizes, you can customise the subtitle style and get up to 8 clips per video.

Frequently asked questions

How many clips does it generate per video?

Three, unless you choose otherwise. At upload you can ask for up to 3 in the trial and up to 8 with Pro, but the number also follows the length of the video: clips never overlap, so a three-minute video yields at most four. If the video doesn't hold enough distinct moments we deliver fewer, and the card says so: we'd rather give you one clip less than an invented one. No monthly cap, on any plan.

Can I edit a clip if I don't like the cut?

Not today, and it's the most honest limitation to state: clips can be watched, downloaded or discarded. There's no editor for moving the cut point or fixing the framing. If fine editing is part of your job, a tool with an editor suits you better — our proposition is different: the same upload also gives you all the text.

What does the «potential» score next to a clip mean?

It's a 0–100 score broken into four criteria — opening hook, completeness of the point, value to the viewer, emotional charge — with one line explaining the choice. It helps you decide which to publish first. We don't call it a «virality score», because nobody can predict what will go viral, and saying otherwise would be a promise we can't keep.

Are the clip subtitles the same as the long video's?

They come from the same transcript, but they're rendered differently: on clips the text animates word by word, because speech recognition gives us the timing of every individual word. From the Pro plan you can choose the style, including a preset that uses your Brand Kit colour.

How long do they stay downloadable?

Seven days from creation, with the date shown next to the download. They're video files, and generated media has a seven-day retention window; text content doesn't expire while the account stays active. If you need them, download them right away: once the window closes and the source video is deleted, they can't be regenerated.
